I'm glad you're here!

Welcome to Life Uninterrupted! A place where we'll look at life together - the good & the bad and the laughter & the pain. This blog begins on the heels of one of the hardest but most amazing years of my life. My first post comes on the day that a year ago my dad woke up from an 8 day coma following two terrible strokes. From that day on until today, I watched my hero defy medical odds to give his family the most precious few months they had ever had with him. My dad spent 60 days in the hospital, 40 days in rehab and several months at home preparing us all for what was inevitable. My daddy passed away on July 29th and I wanted time to stop. I wanted a pause button for my life. I found that there isn't one and that no matter what is going on around you life goes on uninterrupted. That's where the name came from and that's why I'm here. Let's start this journey together and watch where it takes us. I'm glad you're here for Life Uninterrupted!

I too can attest to "life uninterrupted". Many of us have been there, the rest will be there one day. That is certain. I am so proud to call Tammy Gunnels my friend, my sister. Skipper, you are truly amazing and you make me smile as you walk this road of life. It is a privilege to laugh and cry with you.

Yes, life is crazy. VERY crazy. Praying to God to make things easier is weak.. we should pray for Him to make us stronger. Life will never be easy. We should take every moment to grow stronger. That way it won't seem as bad anymore. I love you and I hope to grow close to the example you left for me. My STRONG, wonderful, inspiring, and dream chasing of a mother. :)

If anyone knows about the pause button, I sure do after bidding my mother-in-law, my soul partner, my mentor, farewell as she went to her Lord. Thank you for sharing your journeys with me. I consider it an honor that we have made some together.

I am convinced that the walk we take here on earth is not about us as much as it for the indivduals we must share our testimonies to. Those things that we survive is the foundation of which we stand tall as we confess to our Creator that we believe in the power of His love because without it we are nothing!
